Greater Baton Rouge Hope Academy is a non-profit private school serving the Baton Rouge Metropolitan area with a current enrollment of 84.

Hope Academy admits students on a non-sectarian basis without regard to race, color, creed, ethnic or national origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

No discrimination is made on the basis of race, color, creed, ethnic or national origin in administration of its educational policies, administration policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. The school provides kindergarten through eighth grade classes, including special needs classes, all designed to meet the different learning styles and needs of the individual student.

Grade level students who benefit from low pupil-teacher ratios as well as students with learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, Autism, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome,  Asperger's Syndrome, mental disabilities and other conditions requiring individualized education assistance are the focus of Hope Academy.

Partnership with LSU

LSU Behavior Analysis Research Laboratory- Dr. Jeffrey Tiger, Ph. D.-BCBA-D; Aaron Fischer - Oct 17, 2009

Hope Academy began a partnership in the spring of 2009 with Dr. Jeffrey Tiger's LSU School Psychology Behavior Analysis Research Laboratory as a research site.  Research Lab member, Aaron Fischer, and other students from Dr. Tiger's team, are also currently working with Hope Academy students, providing daily direct intervention and consultative services.  Click here to link and check it out!
